Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, stated on Thursday that while there may not be a deliberate conspiracy behind the Hathras stampede, there could be a deliberate attempt by the government to evade responsibility for the incident. Yadav's comments come in response to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's suggestion of a "potential conspiracy" surrounding the Hathras incident.
Yadav emphasized the importance of the government making decisions based on the evidence captured by media cameras. He stressed that the core issue lies in the administration and government's failure to fulfill their responsibilities in this matter.
"The government should take a decision based on the pictures that have come from the media cameras. The real issue is that it was the responsibility of the administration and the government," said Yadav.
